there's a few people on the big island who do this as a living. I've found some awesome cabinetry people in Hawaii. They use custom wood and their work is just beautiful! P.S. The weather in Hawaii is about 80-85, rains a lot depending on the part of the island or which island, but it doesn't ever seem to rain days on end. More like showers and then stops, clears up. I plan to get a dehumidifier for my yurt on the big island.
