We've definitely noticed that, Jafo! The second thing they notice is usually the floor (if it's the T&G type, varnished up nicely). I think it's because the architecture just naturally lifts the eyes around and up to that lovely center.
One of my favorite parts is that complete and fast paradigm shift when people walk through the door of their first yurt. Many times a person will have their minds made up that they won't like yurts, based on various misconceptions. Then they walk in and start looking around and up, then down, then around, then up again; they start asking dozens of questions... ha! And you can just watch their eyebrows get higher and higher and a light in their eyes grow brighter and brighter... good stuff~~~~~
