Any Yurters in Nebraska?

Considering yurt life after loving my last year fulltiming in an RV. My partner and I are horse trainers and find the possibility of yurt life fascinating.

What are your favorite yurt brands?

We already have land available for yurt building in Nebraska but are also considering Westcliffe, Colorado.

I love reading blogs written by yurt full timers so links to some of those would be fabulous.

We live our life 100% intertwined with livestock and the yurt seems to fit right into that way of living. The horses give us our life and we do our best to take excellent care of them. I would like to continue to spend less on housing and more on quality feed/care for the animals. Our 5th wheel is fabulous but when we settle on a good pasture land for the horses when they are not racing I want a more permanent structure..

What is the average snow load where you live?

28 inches average snowfall in shelby nebraska. Average wind 18mph topping around 25-30mph.
