Default Anyone hear of Yurta yurts?

Does anyone have or know anything about the company out of Toronto called, "Yurta"? Their yurts look beautiful, but perhaps less permanent than others like Pacific or Colorado? Any information is welcome! Thanks.

Do you have any feedback on Yurta yurts? Did you get yours set up? I'm in Nova Scotia and am just starting to research yurt companies. Looking to purchase 3 yurts next Summer and I'm thinking it might be easier/cheaper to use a Canadian company.

Hello,

My Fiancé and I have been living in our Yurta since September 2017
We are comepletly off grid we have no running water or electricity.

We have the 17’ diameter yurt with 7’ walls and Yurta’s 4 season

insulation

(100% needled sheep wool with aluminum reflective outside)

We live in Western New York (Buffalo, NY) This past few weeks its been in the teens to single digits Fahrenheit. When we enter our Yurta after being gone all day it is only a few degrees warmer inside than out. We have a wood burning stove and it does get warm within 40 mins.

We purchased an insulated floor kit with our Yurta that fits together like a puzzle. It is drafty. We also had to cut a hole in the roof fabric for our chimney pipe.

The company is always an email away to help answer any questions.
We raised the Yurta ourselves ( a group of 4-5 people) in about 4 hours
It was easy.

All in all we love our Yurta

Also they do ship internationally but being in the Buffalo area it was more feasible pick it up from the company in Pickering ON

Hey, we would love to hear an update of your experience with your Yurta. We are very close to placing an order and just found your post. I'd listen to anything you would note about your experience. Do you have any recommendations about the color, stove/chimney, deck, or window configuration?

Thanks!
