Living in hard sided 30ft yurt for two years

Hi Yurters,
We've lived full time in our 30 ft hard sided yurt for two years. We built it ourselves with the help of friends with building experience. (They had never built a yurt). We were anxious since we (Hubby 77 and me 81 and two dogs) had lived in an RV for over 8yrs.

We didn't finish insulating it. Wondering about old clothes (treated) as insulation. Has anyone tried this?

Thank you audreylen27. We have photos of our yurt on site.

I wouldn't use clothes for insulation. Mice and bugs. Fiberglass batts, fiberglass rolls, foam board, bubblewrap are affordable and no critters gonna be tell their friends about the bonanza they just discovered.

Thank you so much for the info. I was going through a crazy. Have so many clothes (smile). What do you think of Rockwool?

Never seen rockwool in new construction around here. Some really old redos I have worked on have it layed loose in the attic, around post and tube electric systems. lol
Yurt insulation is not my bag, sorry. Maybe someone else here can help you. Good luck.
