Default Venting a pellet stove through lattice

Hello all, and happy NYE!

We have a question about pellet stove installation and venting. Our pellet stove vent is about 10in off the t&g + hearth, we’re wondering if cutting the lattice in only the “diamond” cut is recommended for structural purposes, or if we could cut lower to the floor, cutting the lattice in 3 places instead of 4. That would allow our vent pipe to run out through the

insulation

and side cover horizontally. Hope that makes sense! Pics attached.

Thanks so much, we’re loving our pacific yurt!

I would not cut through that piece at the bottom that is riveted there. I expect it might flex. Go up another diamond if ya can.

I'm not qualified on this so not only no advice, but no opinion either. You need a 'code' stove pipe install in this case and that most definitely is not in my bag of tricks.

Talk'text Pacific. They undoubtedly have a solution since lots of yurts have a wood stove pipe running ~ horizontally out through the wall. Give them photos and dimensions and talk this out with them. They are the pros.

Good luck.
