Default yurt windows

I have a 30' diameter Pacific Yurt. It came on the property I bought. I also got two sets of windows (the windows and the wood frames) uninstalled that I don't want. I don't want to just dump them if someone out there needs them, they look very expensive and well made). I live in Carmel CA near Monterey Bay. I have no idea of how to ship them so it would have to be someone nearby. If anyone is interested you could email me at [email protected].

The windows are new, about 48"wide and 36" high. Two sections sliding to open, with screens. First class wood frame to fit into yurt structure. They were bought from

Pacific Yurts

for this application. I have two in my yurt and they're great for vision, light and ventilation. I really hate to junk them. How far away do you live? Is it too far to arrange shipping, or come and get them?

You could move closer. I'm in Carmel, next to Monterrey bay. Perfect weather but we worry about forest fires.

I sent you a note just now giving the size.

I don't know much about shipping services either. NY is a long way to plan a trip in a small truck for just a couple of windows. If you think of anything let me know.

I just checked the web, and there's a company PakMail that seems to be able to provide packing and shipping (they call it freight) for this. I think they'd need to put it on a palate and then wrap it. I don't know the cost but you could inquire to see if its worth pursuing. The windows I think were more than a couple of thousand $$. I could send pictures.

Did you think any more about moving???

If there is a window supplier in Carmel, like Pella or Marvin, or even Home Depot/ Lowes, they might be able to ship or give you window shipping boxes. You might even be able ton work a deal with them doing the shipping. You'd likely have to talk with management in that case. Poeple onna floor gonna just say "No."
