Maine specific yurt questions

Hello! I am looking to buy and set up a yurt as a primary residency in Maine in the next year. Does anyone currently live in Maine with a yurt, who knows anything about the zoning laws? Is it required to have electricity/running water? I do know it’s probably town specific but since Maine did just pass tiny house laws I’m wondering if anyone has a sense broadly. Thank you for any help!

You really need to discuss that with the building dept. in your county. Make a detailed written list of all the concerns you can think of so your time with them is productive. Good luck.
