Hunting Season Begins in The Adirondacks

Various hunting seasons have begun up here in the Adirondacks, and opening day for the regular deer/bear season is coming up on October 20th. I am really looking forward to getting out there in the woods. There is really nothing quite like sitting silently for hours and watching the forest go about its business. This year will be a bit different for me because instead of having to drive all the way home, I can just walk back to my yurt camp! It is going to save me so much time because I don't have to get up really early and drive to my property anymore! I can basically wake up, get dressed, and go hunting! It will also be nice to be able to take a break and rest up before I go back out. In previous years, I usually would take a break in my truck, which is nowhere near as comfortable as camp!
