Extra wall protection from bears

I have videos on my cameras at my yurt of black bears nearly every night. I have never had them mess with my yurt in the last 8+ years. We cook bacon and every other kind of meat under the sun in there.

We also hunt bear to the point that they are extremely afraid of humans.

If you have bears wreaking that much havoc, then you have bears that are too comfortable with humans.

Bears are attracted by more things than human food. Sometimes they will chew on a tire if it has recently driven through salt. They will dig through things if they contain bugs like ants or bees (well, which are technically food).

Brown bears are different than black bears btw, so my experience ends at black bears.

The biggest problem to date with any creatures has been mice and with subtle poison, we have taken care of that to a high degree.
