Default Camouflaging a Yurt

Hi everyone! I have a white canvas on my yurt, which lives at the end of my garden surrounded my trees. My neighbours have decided they don’t like the look of it because it is too bright and doesn’t blend into its surroundings. So to keep the peace I am researching ways to make it stand out less. Does anyone have any ideas of ways I can make it look green / darker without replacing the canvas? I have a tarp over it to protect it from rain and bird droppings so I’m considering replacing that with a dark green tarp. Any other ideas? Could I dye the canvas or is that a bad idea? Any thoughts are very welcome! Thank you.

I'd say tough grits. The yurt will darken inside, plus not be as breathable. Unless there is an architectural commitee and covenants involved, forget it. It is your investment, not theirs.

I know you can buy canvas dyes, but I wonder if you would have to take it off first to dye it? You might wan't to ask some of the traditional yurt manufacturers for some advice. I.e.

Groovy Yurts

I would recommend an camouflage net (Army shop....). But not mounted directly on the Yurt.

Mount it - if possible - more like a curtain (e.g. between 2 poles) close to the fence to your neighbours.

This solution is the cheapest in my eyes.
