Default A Couple New Resources

One week of vaca and the email inbox explodes lol! I wanted to mention two new things that came to my attention after sifting through piles of spam and other emails.

I added a book to our bookstore, called 'My Year In A Yurt'. The author, Jen McGeehan, contacted me and asked if I could list it. I looks interesting enough and gives a different point of view to tiny home living.

I also added a link to our links page, for the Tiny Life Supply company. They sell off-grid and grid-tie solutions and have quite a few interesting products they sell. You know me, I love that stuff, so I figured I would share it.

I thought these would add value around here so I am giving them a free plug.

Cheers!

- Jeff

I am thrilled to see the site up and running again. Thank you so much for not letting it die. Very happy to see the link to Coperthwaite.

Yeah! Good stuff! Jen McGeehan (Author of 'My Year in a Yurt') teamed up with us and Habitat for Humanity to start 'The Yurt Project' a couple years ago. We broke some major ground, she is a dedicated yurt champion! The aim was to get yurts into the hands of an organization that did so much great work for low income households everywhere. Unfortunately there was some major political fallout over one of the speakers invited to one of the fundraisers and everything went on hold on their end. But Jen hasn't give up and niether have we.

We have begun reviving the movement with a couple of other groups that have been doing incredible work in the areas of 'Tiny Homes' and the changed legislature needed to allow that lifestyle on a broad scale. I know that she would appreciate any support and/or input/ideas as we take these challenges on. Jen is donating a portion of sales from her book toward this project and we and

Colorado Yurts

will donate several thousand as well. We will update as things progress.

Aloha!
