Default The Yurt Arrived Today!

The yurt arrived today via Fedex Freight. The cost from Oregon to here in upstate NY was around $1,600.

The crates have filled my garage:

You can't really seem them, but there is also a stack of 5 boxes that contain the rafters. Some were damaged:

I contacted

Pacific Yurts

and they said they are immediately shipping out replacement rafters. Can't really ask for more than that! The damage appears to have happened during shipping. Those are telltale forklift scrapes if I have ever seen them. I worked in a warehouse for a few years in my youth, so I have seen that quite a bit.

Fortunately the yurt isn't going up for at least another month, so we were not left hanging.

You're more than welcome. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. I am REALLY enjoying the yurt, the only downside is that I don't get enough time to spend there. It is my hunting/fishing camp/summer getaway so I only get some weekends and vacation time there..
