Default looked at a yurt yesterday...

Hello Everyone,
Went to look at a 30ft. yurt yesterday.. not sure what I should do. It does have some water and possible mice crap..(2 mice came out when I use a broom to empty water trap) I do have a video that I will try to get to you..They are asking 5k..I would prob only offer 3.5k due to damage. Can i have your input as to is the damage repairable? The reason I am interested in this yurt is 1. size 2. location..it is not going to be easy to disassemble and reassemble but the distance to and from locations is only and hour. So your input would be much appreciated...Also, how long would disassemble/assemble take? The platform, toilet, and pellet stove are included.
Thank you,
Arlene

The frame looks good, assuming this is going to be in a low snow load area. I am however pretty worried about the fabric. I mean, you might be able to repair it, but I have a feeling that once you disassemble this thing, the fabric is really going to deteriorate. It is a challenge enough getting that stuff off and then back on a yurt and not damaging it when it is new, much less in this condition.

Do we know the name of the manufacturer, or is this a home made yurt?

Cool Re: looked at a yurt yesterday...

I think it is spirit mountain company. Yes owner has not been there to take care of yurt. snow, rain etc. this winter. That is the only area that would need attention. I would prob need to cut those areas and replace some how. The frame did seem fine also the platform was solid.
Thanks
