Insurance for a yurt?!

I am looking to buy a yurt on a couple of acres of land in Vermont. I have found a bank that is willing to finance (with 20% down and not a great interest rate), but I know that the bank will want the property insured. Does anyone carry

on their yurt? What

companies will do that? Unfortunately I can not afford to buy the yurt separately from the land, which would make everything easier. Any stories or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I was able to get a yurt insured with Midrox with the exception of damage caused by snow load. The only reason they wouldn't cover snow load was just because they admittedly do not understand the structures well enough yet (too new for them). I haven't checked back with them to see if they will waive this exception yet.

Hi Tomi, would you be willing to share what bank you used? And where in Vermont? I'm looking to buy some land and am thinking about a yurt in the Richmond area. I would likely need to finance both. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
