Default Burnt out in CA fire

Me and my dad just lost our house in the Fire up in Northern CA called the camp fire, need a cheap new or used yurt to put on the property and would be grateful for any info I can get on where to start, I'm a paraplegic so getting by day to day right now with so much to do after a total loss and using free internet at store it's a bit overwhelming so it would just be awesome to get first hand knowledge from someone who has gone through the yurt process and has understanding about cost and how quick I could get one put up for us to have a home base to start the process of rebuilding thanks

Sorry for your loss.

First, check out our classifieds. If you don't find anything to your liking there, try contacting some of the yurt manufacturers here and explain your issue and see if they can perhaps sell you one at cost. Also you can save a lot if you can manage to drive and pick up the yurt yourself instead of delivery.

Good luck. These fires are really hurting a lot of people.

Sorry for your loss. Sorry can't help with yurt. I have a couple dozen folks extended family that live in various CA locales. LOTS of fires, some close to them. No loss yet fortunately. Here in Colorado Springs there were catastrophic fires in 2012 and 2013. Over 1000 homes lost. We know two families that were burned out. Just terrible what they went through, it can't be understood uless it happens to you. Wish I had something better to say other than good luck.

Hello,

So very sorry to hear of your loss! What size yurt are you looking for? We ship our yurts all over the world and can certainly get one to California. Some slight modifications would need to be made for full accessibility. Please e-mail or call if you are interested and I would be pleased to assist you.

So sorry for your loss.
We manufacture yurts out of Northern California and could certainly build an affordable yurt for you and your father and would be happy to help with

yurt platform

construction etc. Let us know if you have any questions.
