Wire on top of lattice

I'm wondering where to find the heavy cable that sits in top of lattice and rafters are notched to.

You can get it lots of places. It is called "Aircraft Cable Wire". Even places like Home Depot have it.

Yep, like Jafo I got mine at Depot. Lowes also has it. I used 1/4" wire and three cable clamps.

Wire is sold by diameter and by the foot. Don't forget to add a couple feet for the cable lap and for any additional fiddly farting around. Better long than short, eh?
