Myself, I generally roll with the easy and cheap solution first, and see how that goes. Thanks for all the photos, UK.

I also see solutions like removing a piece of the platrom just under the treshold of the door so that the water cant enter the platform and starts creeping underneath. Seems like a rather drastic solution which might work as long as there is no deck, but when there is one im all ears for good solutions.
