Good ideas Wintergreen! I agree on the skirting below the decking, seems like more of a mice den than a heat retention benefit. I have thought of using radiant heat in the floor would be the best for way to heat a Yurt, essentially tubing stapled below the floor in a serpentine layout and of course super insulated . I have thought of a non-toxoc fluid with the wood stove, but I am not sure you can get a wood stove to burn with any efficiency with water jackets , end up making a lot of creosote, and of course we do do have electricity for a circulation pump.. But if one were on the grid, with a propane tankless unit this might work well..
I agree with encasing water or waste piping with , but should have heat tape..
