More blocking is always better if you can afford it. I recall two popular quotes:

1. "few have regretted an early start but many have suffered the consequences of a late start"
2. "build the biggest garage you can afford...you're still going to run out of room"

The beefier your frame the less deflection, the less you'll notice it, the less it will bother you. Easy to deal with when you frame it, notsomuch after you're all done
