JP, the yurt is going to look great tucked into the corner of your yard! I would suggest that you plane the Trex used for your drip edge down to 1/2" in thickness. As it is you will have problems with the lattice wall anchoring brackets fitting around it and your side cover will likely have more movement during wind. This is due to the side cover having to conform to the larger circumference of the platform as well as to the circumference of the lattice wall. The bigger the difference is between the two, the more likely you'll experience 'flapping' in the wind.

Thanks for the advice. The trex bender was 1/2" so seemed to be fine with the brackets. I also used weatherstripping on the base, and everything turned out very weatherproof. It took about 5 hours to erect, great instructions by
