Default Insulation

Currently building my yurt. I have zero experience with construction, so it's slow going. I have completed the lattice walls and

center ring

.
My question is on

insulation

, can I use moving blankets as my

insulation

layer?

I have a friend who did, but it's not very good as insulation and gets soggy from condensation sometimes.
I suggest Reflectix, or whatever is similar in your area.
I just insulated my yurt with two layers of reflective bubble wrap, and gosh it's cosy now! I can't use the log fire on full power, because it's too hot in the yurt now!
Here's a bunch of pages on insulation for ideas...

I would suggest a liner to hide the reflectix insulation. I would feel like a baked potato in your yurt lol, although I imagine you need less lighting..

Yes, I may do that sometime. A baked potato or an inside-out garlic bread!
