Seam between canvas and PVC roof coming unstitched

Help, our canvas and pvc are steadily unstitching and we are not sure how to restitch successfully. Any advice...?

No pics or anything but I'll throw in a procedure.

Do a spot resew as necessary with two of those 'speedy stitcher' awls that have a heavy duty straight needle, and a bobbin loaded with heavy linen thread.

Two people, each with an awl, working opposite eachother inside and outside the yurt. Each person runs his awl through the area needing repair and the opposing person passes the thread through the loop. Work from both sides. With material that is sound you'll get a very solid repair.

Remove the cover and have it professionally repaired.

If the thread or material is shot, get a new cover.
