Roof and Exterior Wall Replacement

Hi, hoping someone can give me some direction here. We are in the process of moving my Dad's old yurt from it's current location to central Colorado. The original cover was canvas and is long gone. The current cover is about 8 years old and hasn't been maintained well resulting in a large rip among other problems.

My main question is where to source the material to make a new cover. We want to use a synthetic, uv resistant material (I keep seeing PVC coated vinyl?). The yurt was imported from Mongolia so it doesn't match any ready made covers that we can find.

Has anyone made their own cover? What material did you use and why?
