That engine seized up about four years later while going cross country since I didn't reseat the valve cover properly after a valve adjustment. No oil pressure light either. I pulled the engine in Pinedale behind a gas station. That motor was toast. The next day I bought a motor out of a VW bus. Pulled it and installed it in my bug in one day. Next day we left on our cross country trip-again. lol
