New Feature: My Yurt

I know I have been quiet here for a few days but that is mainly because I have been working on a new feature called My Yurt. You can now create a page about your yurt(s) and it will also show up in your profile details. See this screenshot of my profile:



My Yurt is still in beta and I have many features I want to add to it such as discussions about your yurt to be shown in a list under your page, letting users browse yurts by feature type, size, etc..

To begin, you might want to create a photo album and fill it with pictures of your yurt. You can then use them when you create your yurt. Let me know if you see any bugs or if you have any questions.

Meanwhile, is there a way to post an avatar? On the community list and on forums you're the only one who seems to have one. Not that I'm too vain or jealous... Ok, maybe a little jealous.

Awesome addition, Jafo! More upgrade options to list would be cool That way people can get an idea of what's there to ask about. Some extras that might be nice to list: Solar arc. Awning kits. Operable windows.

opener, screen, & shade screen. Fan support. Roll up wall.

Durolast

roof upgrade. Type of wall material. Oooh, and color combinations! That's always a fun one, to see what combos people come up with.

Those are all great ideas! I see you added a yurt. Once you add images to your albums, you can go back and add them to your yurt. They will all be available when you go in to edit.

I will definitely be added all of those options. Let me know if you have any more you would like to see!

The color one will be hard for me to figure out, but I will get there. I am pretty colorblind myself but I will figure it out somehow lol!

We have a nifty color tool linked on our pricing page. It may be a good link to post. But even just an area to list color combos would be neat.

Yes, I uploaded a bunch of pics, (Having fun with this!) but they seem very skewed... Am I doing something wrong? Easy fix or re-upload?

The thumbnails will get resized a little funky sometimes. After you add pics to albums, you have to go back to the My Yurts page and select which ones you want to show on your My Yurts page. Hope that isn't too confusing, but I thought it the most flexible way to do it.

Nope, easy! You're good at this. It's all been very easy to follow. I saw on the 'my yurt' page that they all look great. And no frustratingly low size limit. *Yay*

Actually your yurt showed me a bug in the system! Thanks! I fixed it. The pics on your yurt page should be all better now. Mouse over the thumbnails and watch.
