I think for now I am going no floor insulation unless someone has a reason for it other than heat retention. If we were to use it in the winter I would insulate because it gets down to -50 regularly...

Yurt is only going to be used for guests in the summer as we have a main cabin that is heated with wood for colder months. Not a lot of guests in the winter. For some reason visitors don't like below...
