Hiya, I have just bought a yurt as I would like to live more in harmony with nature. I am looking to install a
option, so far the best choices I have seen are a woodstove from company that specialises in yurts/tiny homes, buying a small woodstove locally and having installed or a butane gas heater. I am not so fussed with
when I am there, can where extra layers, sleep with extra blankets etc but I will also have clients come for consultations so would like it cosy warm sometimes and keep dry as it is humid and cold in winter where I live in south of France.
It is a mongolian yurt (20m2) and has a hole for chimney pipes in the centre top, however this is covered with a 'hat' that keep the yurt waterproof. Does anybody have any experience with how to set this up so it is effective, safe and waterproof please?
