We live in our 24 ft diameter yurt year round with our 3 little kids. We build and sell yurt kits based on a modified Mongolian design that is tailored to northern living with kids. We live in Saskatchewan, Canada where it routinely reaches - 40C. We have designed a super insulation kit and stay very toasty with only a small fire. Designed with materials available locally, we build our kits completely from materials available within 100 miles of our home. We have a full 8ft wall so it seems very spacious. We have lived in it for over 3 years now. Will post pictures soon!
