Default Ring failed. Image of construction. What's your opinion?

Wasn't sure what category to post under.

This winter, I was notified that my yurt collapsed. The perimeter cable is still intact. The ring failed, probably from uneven snow load.

I don't yet want to reveal the manufacturer, but I'm somewhat upset about this quality.

Is this acceptable for a 30' model sold with extra "snow load" features? In my view, the glue alone makes this inexcusable.

Other rings that I see online have more than two layers, good glue coverage, fully sanded and sealed. The construction here is two rings of 12 2x6 segments reduced to a curve.
