Yurt Deck Sizing

Recently I inherited a 30 foot yurt along with the deck it sits on. Care was taken to create a tight fit on reassembling the 1/12 by 6 tongue and groove deck board. Consequently the result was that the diameter across the boards wound up being 29 feet 7 3/8 inches or about 5 inches short of the 30 foot recommended diameter. My question is whether or not this will ultimately matter if I were to go ahead and raise the yurt itself on this platform or will be the yurt be forgiving enough to adjust to this discrepancy. Or – do I need to somehow make sure I add the 5 inches?
