Retrofit Windows in Insulated Yurt

We are in a 24' Pacific Yurt. It is insulated and the inner walls are plywood. We want to put in one more window where a vinyl wall exists.
The pacific window comes with a wall section but we don't want to cut out the plywood. Given the rigidity the plywood walls provide can't we just put a standard custom size slider in the existing frame?
