Just getting started
I am very interested in building a yurt where I live in Southern California. When I first saw a "yurt" was at Lake Chachuma in Santa Barbara County. They have quiet a few that are used as camping rentals. From that point on I was sold! However my main concern is the material used to make yurts. Fabric appears not to last or to add any strength to the overall construction. What are the factors for cold and hot weather? That is my one and only main concern, thanks.
