Wow, that is terrible news. I spoke to Becky in January via Skype when she was in Mexico. She sounded so vibrant and happy.

Becky was instrumental in founding

, her book and website/blog/forum broke many barriers between different kinds of yurt makers and owners alike. Her work has brought the industry far and she will be missed. We are all a bit in shock, I think, many of us had no idea of her struggle until very recently. We are sad that her light was extinguished so soon. She will be long remembered in this realm.
